Who is Colin Williams?
I’m a published writer, conservationist, wildlife guide and Writer in Residence for WhaleFest 2012. I write about nature, wildlife and the landscape that we inhabit. I believe that the stories we tell define who we are and cement our sense of place. It is this very deepest connection that not only defines us but also gives definition to the natural world around us. And it’s that connection which I try to distil in the articles and pieces I write. Click on the postcard links below to find out about my latest work, see what I’m working on currently or just enjoy the journeys that can happen when we take the time to find out what connects us to the natural world and why.
Where can I read more?
There are samples of my work all over this site and on other places on the web, but you can contact me to write a piece for you or just contact me! I’d love to hear your thoughts about the writing and your personal experiences of the landscape and the wildlife in it. I also speak publicly about my work and the great wide open and would be happy to hear from you. In the meantime, please visit my blog pages or the links from the RSS feed on the right.
